SO, HOW DOES THIS YEARS COMP WORK?
DO I NEED TO BE A MEMBER TO COME ALONG TO YOUR MEETS?
No you don't, you can play and check it out but if you win one of the comps then YOU WILL have to be a member to compete in the grand final, to become a member you can sign up on the night or at any meet - membership is $40 for a years subscription.
ARE THE COMPS HARD? DO YOU HAVE TO BE A PROFESSIONAL PLAYER?
Absolutely NOT, our competitions vary in skill each week from amateur to professional. The grand final is always played out on a machine that no one knows until the night and is usually and older machine so it evens out the playing field.
HOW DO I GET INTO THE FINAL?
Just turn up to any of our fortnightly meets and win one of the many competitions on that night
HOW DOES THE FINAL WORK?
Winning your place in the final gives 2 GAMES on the final pinball machine, those 2 scores are then added together to give you an average score and the highest average score on the night WINS the MAJOR PRIZE
Once everyone has played their 2 games and scores have been averaged EVERYONE has an opportunity to BUY IN an extra game to try and better their LOWEST score to up their average. The BUY IN costs $20 for the first round and then $30 for the 2nd, $40 for the 3rd and then $50 there after - up to 5 rounds maximum The number of buy ins will be dictated by the length of the competition so it may be less
I'M IN THE FINAL ALREADY DO I NEED TO GO TO ANY MORE MEETS?
Absolutely! If you have your final ticket now you can compete to win comps and win your BUY INS on the finals night - this will give you the MAXIMUM advantage at NO COST to you
WHAT IS THE GRAND PRIZE?
Your choice of either $2000 cash on the night (perfect for Christmas) OR a retro pinball machine, I can't say what machine it is as you will be playing it on the night! Its a great classic though and worth $2500!
